Ten reasons to consider our programs:
-
Quality: Our Certificate and Diploma programs are the most comprehensive and highest quality local coach training programs offered in Western Australia, and our programs and our teaching staff are comparable to the best of any offered nationally.
-
Credibility: Our teaching staff are practicing professional coaches and experienced adult learning educators and facilitators, sharing genuine coaching approaches. We are committed to seeing coaching develop as a strong, independent, practical and intellectually credible discipline, not a "flavour of the month". We believe the best people to learn coaching from, are professional coaches!
-
Credentialling: Our Diploma programsupports our coaches to meet credentialling requirements through the recognised professional association, the International Coach Federation as our training is an ICF accredited program meeting identified all coaching competencies. Our Diploma students can also gain credit toward the Graduate Diploma of Coaching at WA’s Curtin University of Technology.
- Theoretical basis: We take a multi-disciplinary approach, incorporating; adult learning and organisational development, philosophy, sociology, anthropology, linguistics, cognitive science, contemplative spirituality, and biological systems thinking about human cognition and communication.
- Learning philosophy: Our approach to facilitating your learning is holistic and integrates, practical skills development with coaching models and theory, group discussion with personal development and reflection, and extends beyond the workshops to real life practice, integration and ultimately, mastery. Our pace and approach is learner-centred, not curriculum-driven!
- Location: We're based in Western Australia meaning we have real staff here, not just a post office box! Our workshops and coaching sessions are provided live/in-person, not via telephone, internet or on a 'fly-in, fly-out' basis meaning no extended gaps in delivery and local back-up.
Trainer Ratios: The maximum ratio of our trainers to students is no greater than 1:10. We recognise that the personal attention is the key to ensuring that cognitive understanding is translated into practical skill demonstration.
- Coaching Community: Participation in, and support from, a like-minded community of people who share your values of life-long learning and a commitment to mastering coaching.
- Personal Growth and Development: We're here to help you master the art and the science of coaching, not just "do" coaching. You'll have opportunities to experience and experiment with new beliefs and ways of behaving, and to challenge old ones. To develop new skills as well as to affirm, hone and apply your existing knowledge and strengths.
- Implementation: For participants wanting to grow a coaching business, we're not just interested in helping you develop coaching skills; we're interested in helping you build a profitable business. We're also concerned to support you to apply coaching in other professional or managerial roles.
